NEW DAY (OTIS PARHAM)
By Sean C. Johnson
On June 18, 1934, a mob of white men lynched an innocent 16-year-old black boy in Pine Level, Alabama. His name was Otis Parham. He was my Great Uncle. This song is dedicated to his memory.
